I’m Pedro, from Portugal. I was born in Covilhã (Serra da Estrela). I’ve always had a passion for handwork, and I always have made handmade work’s such as notebooks and other crafts. Now I’m living in Montalegre (Serra do Gerês), and I work in CERCIMONT, a cooperative of disabled people inclusion. My function there is to develop works with them to maintain their occupational balance. The next step is to introduce ceramic works in the institution!
I also have an atelier with my girlfriend, where I have started the ceramic works.

What I love about ceramics is all the possibilities of works one can make. Is the touch of the clay in our hands and the calm sensation I feel when I’m working on the wheel.
