| Introduction |
Hannah is a ceramic artist and illustrator who makes Munbeibis, little creatures from the Moon. She started making Munbeibis in 2014 when she first imagined these tiny alien companions, and ordered a bag of clay on the internet to make them real. Hannah’s work is intended to evoke tenderness, rediscovery of lost childhood whimsies, and exploration of hidden worlds that exist inside each of us. She is originally from Northern California and is now based on Vancouver Island.

| What I Love about Ceramics |
When I first thought of these little creatures, I wanted them to be able to live in my apartment, to accompany me on journeys and learn about the world alongside me. I love the idea that I can create a small life out of clay, and that it can be a friend to me, and anyone who feels a kinship with it.
