Nice to meet you! I live in Minnesota, graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BA degree in Studio Arts, Ceramics back in 1996. I have taught elementary- and high school-levels Art since 1997.  Last year I began the Minnesota Nice program at Northern Clay Center to renew my interest in clay and work toward retiring from teaching — but had to put off finishing the program due to COVID19.

I play ice hockey, garden, spend time outdoors at the family cabin and enjoy traveling. I have three urban chickens, two dogs and a husband, Dave. We live in St Paul, Minnesota in a 3-story Queen Anne Victorian built in 1889.

Ceramics I like to hand-build | slab and mold-making | slip casting.  I’m working on setting up a studio in my basement — and it’s taking me longer than I expected.
