About Me
Introduction | Hi from Parkland County, Alberta Canada! I am a functional ceramicist and high fire in a reduction gas kiln. I have eclectic tastes from fun, unique and colourful designs to traditional elegant tableware. I am drawn to historical symbols and would like to discover how to integrate my interest in social justice issues more into my art. |
What I Love about Ceramics | I love the versatility and the seemingly infinite things that can be made with clay. I am a connoisseur as much as a maker |
How I started with ceramics | I started with an adult learning course in an old school in Edmonton Alberta. I knew I liked the possibilities of clay from a glimpse opportunity in grade school. But after the course I knew I found my art of choice! |
What inspires me | ancient symbols, unique designs and colour combinations |
What I'm working on at the moment | getting orders completed from all the fairs I attended in November. It is a good time to be a potter! |
