My name is Genie Albrecht and I come from Namibia. I so enjoy the anglo-oriental glazes with reduction firing using gas. Pots need to be held and used so I love creating functional ware with some decorative pieces. I am experimenting with using Namibian sea sand in saggars to fire typical desert pieces and combine the east with Namibia.
