| Introduction |
Hi, my name is Nadja, and I live in Milton NSW – a small country town on the south coast.
I make figurative ceramic sculpture using a variety of clays, from very groggy BRT to fine porcelain. I’m interested in the environment, the human condition, and the socio-political construction of beauty, sex and identity.

| My Artist Statement |
I express my feelings and thoughts about the environment, our place in it, and the constructs we evolve, through my ceramic sculpture. My work tends to centre around the human body, sometimes using the clay surface as a canvas, and other times exploring the haptic possibilities of combining ceramic and textile.
