About Me
| Introduction | Hi I am a mom of two beautiful children and a wife to an amazing supportive husband. We live in Langley British Columbia, Canada. I have always loved pottery since high school and had always dreamed of dabbling in it. I am also a primary school teacher. I have had the opportunity to expose my students too ceramics. I would say that I love making functional pottery. Planters because I am a crazy plant lady. Mugs because they make great gifts! Earrings because a girl always needs a good accessory! Super excited to participate in this platform. |

| How I started with ceramics | This is where my journey started! When I worked at my past schools they all had kilns that NOBODY used! I definitely took advantage of them. In 2008, I moved to a new built school and no kiln :(. I was travelling 20min back and forth to to fire my students work. My husband surprised me with the ultimate gift a KILN! I wasn’t able to hook it up until 2017 when we moved to a new home where there was enough power coming to the property.

| What I'm working on at the moment | I love dogs but am deathly allergic. My sisters both have pugs and I love those lil girls to death! I love making pugware for my sisters and other pug lovers. I recently purchased a 3D printer so I am learning to create stamps for my handbuilding. My hubby is Irish and I love Ogham (the old Irish form of writing). Currently in my head, I am working on creating mugs with Ogham. I have made all of my stamps now to find the time to create them in my studio. |
