My name is Jennifer, and I live in Canada. Â I throw and hand build mugs and other forms as a hobby right now, but I am interested in growing and learning more. Â I am trying to build my skill-set and my home studio in hopes that I can turn my hobby into a full time gig.

Working with ceramics is so peaceful and versatile! Â I love being able to play and get my hands dirty while I create.

| How I started with ceramics |
For years I had been interested in ceramics, so when I moved to a place that had a local studio, I enrolled in a class as soon as I could. Â From the first class, I was hooked!

| What inspires me |
I am inspired by places, particularly those I have loved or visited, people, plants and the ocean.

| What I'm working on at the moment |
I am currently working on setting up my home studio!  There, you can find me working on my throwing technique and practicing my handle pulling.  I’m a bit rusty after being away from a community studio as there is not one where I live, so I recently purchased my own wheel.  Right now, I enjoy throwing mugs and small pots.
