i have not made my own glazes before and I am not sure if the ones I did last night count because they were premixed. I just had to add water and colourants. So I got a clear matte glaze, a clear glossy glaze, and added five colourants to each. I added one cup of the mixed glaze and 2 tsp of colourants to each.
What is flux? My Alberta slip says…

Ashley talks about this in one of the Personal Space Meetups -11/08/25 I think? This is a good one to go back and rewatch if you’re wanting to explore making your own glazes.
I attached the raw material spreadsheet he posted and it has Flux on it. Basically, flux lowers the melting point of silica.

Breaking Boundaries lost posts
I posted two breaking boundaries posts and now I cant find them. All my notes and questions and rules were posted once. How do I find them again? Ugh! How do I find only my posts? Do I just not understand this app/web page and where to find things, or is there a feature we are missing for ease of use?

nevermind, I finally found it. It is definitely me!

So rules and boundaries are suggestions to me. I seem to also be the person who speaks up when I see some form of injustice or disrespect or illegal, or immoral thing. It…

Watched a video called 30 techniques in 30 days, mostly painnting, some mixed media, was a way the artist pushed his own boundaries. Intriguing. Then watched portrait artist of the year. Making a self portrait, whether a painting or a mask or bist out of clay would puch mt boundaries. Making, redesigning, or deconstructing a teapot is also a…

I decided to watch some of the other courses I have through the ceramic school and OMG! I forgot how good the Ceramic Conferences are! Especially the Canadian content one. Of course, I am biased and proud of my country, but the information, artists, and work to look at are wonderful!
Watching this gave me so many things to think about…
