Glaze	I mixed my own glazes for Cone 6 firing and Cone 10 firing. I love celadon, copper red, eggshell, clear glaze with color slip combination, and matte glazes. Next project will probably explore oil spot and tenmoku glazes.

Introduction	My name is Samuel and I’m a ceramicist based in Selangor, Malaysia. My work usually more to functional ware such as Mug, Bowl, Plates and so on. At times, I’ll do sculptures as well. I work well with Porcelain and Stoneware. My work usually uses Hand-building Technique (Pinch, Coil and Slab) or Wheel Throwing. I mix my own glazes and I fires my work either Oxidation & Reduction atmosphere depending on types of glazes I use and the outcome that I want.
What I Love about Ceramics	I love everything about Ceramics and the process. I love my artworks.
How I started with ceramics	I started my journey into the art of pottery as an apprentice in Yeevia Pottery Studio in 2008 under YeeVia (Frankie Yee Vian Shin).
What inspires me	My inspirations usually comes from Nature, People and Life Experiences.
What I'm working on at the moment	Currently under planning and ideation phase. Still work in progress so stay tune.
My Artist Statement	To achieve artistic realization and accomplishment of ideas inspired by nature, people and life experiences whether as an art form or as functional ware using clay and other art mediums.
