Introduction	Hi, My name is Rebekah Gold. I currently live in Washington Dc metro area. I throw vessels and often alter, add to or take away, carve, sgraffito, etc. I’m growing my sculptural techniques and still finding my voice. I just signed up for the CRMX mentorship as well as doing an in person one. I’ve been involved in pottery full time for over 13 years now and own a small business. I also teach ceramics part time. I participate in high end art shows in my area. I’m thinking about getting into galleries more often as well.
What I Love about Ceramics	Absolutely every aspect!
How I started with ceramics	I started at a community gallery and Arts center in Eugene, Oregon when I was 13 and fell in love. I continued in high school and then picked it up again in my 30s.
What inspires me	Items, pictures, nature, other artists, and more.
What I'm working on at the moment	Vases with sprig molds of my making, combined with free hand applications, and carving. Want to start working with oxides and color washes. Interested in more natural subdued looks.
