Gretchen Olberding

Animal Spirit Shamans with nylon clay has been my main focus. My other favorites are pastel landscapes. Both lend to textural and design elements. I do not fire my clay; rather I brush a fabric hardener on it to strengthen it. Then overlay with acrylic paints. Nature has always been foremost in my life and I access what it has to offer for my creative work.
