I love pottery that lifts the spirit: bright colors, whimsical motifs, garden totems. I love the wheel and making bowls, mugs, planters, and more. My garden art friends have inspired an interest in hand-building and sculpting for things like garden totems, wall planters, birdhouses, gargoyles, and fountains.

I started pottery in the late 1970s in my university dormitory’s art center. After about 3 years of more pottery than my intended studies allowed, I pursued other careers. About 2 years ago, I started again after retiring. I am interested in almost everything about pottery and have set up a full studio at my house.
