The Ceramics Congress – An International Ceramic Cat Show
Open to all artistic expressions of the theme in clay form.

This will be the very first Ceramics Congress juried exhibition! Our hope is to have a wealth of submissions from all over the world. All entries must be cat related somehow and be predominantly made out of clay to be considered.
- This is a juried exhibition. Juror’s decisions are final.
- All entries must be complete and received by April 10, 2022 @ midnight CST.
- Images of submissions must be high resolution jpeg files.
- Work can be for sale or NFS.
- The exhibition will be held online only. You do not need to physically ship work.
- Open to artists from anywhere in the world who are 18 and older.
- Work must be made within the last 3 years.
- Work that has been exhibited elsewhere is eligible.
PLEASE NOTE:
- By submitting your images for consideration you are acknowledging that the work submitted is your own work and that you have full permission to use the images. If you need to credit a photographer please add that in the submission form.
- By submitting your images to the exhibition you are agreeing to have your images be shown online in a virtual gallery space and that your images may be used for publicity purposes.
The exhibition opening will be held online as part of the Spring Ceramics Congress, exact date to be announced. The exhibition will also be available to view online after The Ceramics Congress.
About The Ceramics Congress:
The Ceramics Congress is a bi-annual online event bringing together ceramics artists from around the world for 5 days in May and November. It host workshops, artist talks, technical advice and demonstrations, exhibitions, vendor expo, makers market and many interactive social events. Thousands of attendees participate each time making this the number one online international ceramic event.

This will be the very first Ceramics Congress juried Film Festival! Our hope is to have a wealth of submissions from all over the world.
- This is a juried exhibition. Juror’s decisions are final.
- All entries must be complete and received by April 10, 2022 @ midnight CST.
- Films must be submitted as a youtube link. This can be an unlisted video, but it can not be hidden or we won’t be able to access it.
- The festival will be held online only.
- Open to artists from anywhere in the world who are 18 and older.
- Films that have been exhibited elsewhere are eligible.
PLEASE NOTE:
- By submitting your film for consideration you are acknowledging that the work submitted is your own work and that you have full permission to use the footage. Please credit all collaborators and staff in the submission form.
- By submitting your film to the festival you are agreeing to have your film be shown online and that still images of your film may be used for publicity purposes.
- Please note: It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to secure clearance from all copyright holders of materials included in the submitted film. The Ceramic School will not be held responsible for the unauthorized inclusion of copyrighted materials within or relating to the submitted film. The Ceramic School reserves the right to disqualify any film with unauthorized copyrighted materials.

The Ceramics Congress – Down Under Short Film Fest
Call out for short film and video submissions for The Ceramics Congress – Down Under Short Film Fest which will be presented during the Ceramics Congress May 2022 edition (May 26th-30th 2022).
It’s FREE to submit your video.
1) ELIGIBILITY
Open for all residents in Australia.
2) CATEGORY
a) STUDIO
Show us your studio, the set up, studio tips, DIY tools, layout, toolbox, green studio tip and anything that relates to your studio.. You could also talk about your work, demonstrate your favourite techniques or how you create your work.
b) WILDLIFE
If you have wildlifes visit your garden, we would love to see them. Think Kangaroos, possums, bats, birds, big spiders, dolphins (yes, I once visited a potter who has a house across the road from the ocean where a pod of dolphins visits her everyday!). If you adopt one (or more) as house pets, show us how they are.
c) PARADISE
We want to show the world how unique and beautiful Australia is. We are looking for a short film showing a tourist spot near you or a place you call “paradise” (think local pub, restaurant, shops, gallery, museum, pottery supply or somewhere that you go for a nice and positive feeling).
3) DURATION
No longer than 10 minutes, inclusive of credits.
Films can be as short as you like.
4) DATES
Entry close: Sunday, 10 April, 2022
Shortlisted notification: Monday, 2 May 2022

HD (1920 x 1080) and Landscape
6) UPLOAD
